My Future Office

This project was really an exercise in architectural shaders since I wasn’t too knowledgeable of them up to that point. I decided my future dream office would be a suitable test bed for this exercise. I particularly liked not having to worry about unwrapping UVs and the time I was able to save by skipping that step and playing with shader parameters instead. The lantern and bonsai tree were the lone unwrapped objects and were only added for increased visual interest.


Programs used: Maya, Photoshop, and Zbrush. Rendered in Mental Ray.
